P4: Learners produce competent materials to be used in their planned original print media product

M2: Production of material is proficient. The techniques and processes are fit for purpose and used effectively to create meaning within the planned outcome.

D1: Materials produced are generally of a high technical standard and quality. Conventions of the chosen genre are followed, within the intentions of the production. The production techniques are used to good effect to enhance meaning, within the intentions of the production.



TASK 12)
Production: photo-shoot

Upload the photos you have taken in a word document/infographic - discuss the processes you completed in order for you to take effective shots.

Include comments on:
- Framing of shots
- Timing
- Direction
- Props
- Lighting

Key terms: genre, conventions, low key lighting, high key lighting, shot types ( medium shot, close up, long shot etc) .


TASK 13)
Production Process

Start mocking up your magazine cover design (on photoshop).  Record the process through a series of screen shots.  Do not fully edit your photos at this point, you want to show a progression from initial mocking.

Start up layouts, colour changes, text sizes etc. 

TOP TIPS
- remember to stay true to your genre
- use film poster conventions



TASK 14)
Evaluation of Processes 

Did you follow all the processes ( planning, recee, health and safety checks) and how did they help you produced effective materials for your magazine cover? Create a page explaining your process with pictures to prove, so images to show your health and safety practices, equipment set up, location settings etc.
